Synopsis

Middle school student Sang-gyu and Min-sun meet bullies while going downtown to buy games. Min-sun who has a good brother who is good at fighting avoids crisis and only Sang-gyu loses money. When came back home, Sang-gyu asks his cousin for revenge

Program Note

When schoolboys, Sang-gyu and Min-seon go out to buy games, they are beaten by thugs. Sang-gyu’s money is taken, but Min-seon escapes the crisis by namedropping ‘famous’ boys. When Sang-gyu goes home, he asks his older cousin to exact revenge. Shadower explores difficult questions about true friendship. (JE Jeong-ju)

Diretor

KWAK Ki-bong

Born in 1986, Daejeon, Kwak Ki-bong studied film at Konkuk University. After receiving the award for the Korean Youth Film Festival for his debut short film, he produced the film Bad land (2014) that gained attention from domestic short film festivals.
