Synopsis

Seung-ho, who's a senior in high school, receives credit card transaction text alarms of Hawa, who was the previous owner of his newly changed phone number. He immediately falls in love when he looks her up on social networking services.

Program Note

When schoolboy, Seung-ho, receives someone else’s credit card statement, he checks up on the person. After finding she’s a beautiful woman in her 30s, he follows and falls for her. The sensitive subject of stalking is explored through describing of the protagonist’s psychological state, with an unexpected ending. (JE Jeong-ju)

LEE Jai-il

Lee Jai-il is currently attaining his master’s degree in the School of Theater and Film at Hanyang University. The short film Intimate Strangers screened at BIFAN2018 which was his second short film.
