Synopsis

The birds endlessly flapped their wings to go over the wall. "The goal is to pass and go over the wall", for long time applicant Ji-soo, and first time applicant Sun-young, who studies together. Are they competitors or friends?

Program Note

This lyrical film depicts a female character struggling to find a job. Jeong Ha-dam’s cold and emotional performance brings her character, Ji-soo, to life. Animation is slotted in between scenes, which gracefully unfolds a perplexing and ironic theme, with the ending making a strong impact too. (CHANG Hyun-sang)

Diretor

LIM Jung-eun

Born in 1990, Lim Jung-eun majored from a graduate school in Dankook University. She won the Female Part Award at the 2015 Short Film Festival in the Drama Special Mention for her short film The Weight of Love (2016).
