Synopsis

In a near future where people can sell and buy experiences stored in their memory, we met Lucía, a young and rich woman who, apparently, has the life we all want to have.

Program Note

Set in the near future, this film shows a beautiful young woman named Lucía, who leads more affluent life than anyone. A mansion, luxury clothes and car, friends and relaxed meals – everything about her life seems perfect, but she has earned them by selling her memories. She voluntarily sacrifices precious life values for material well-being. This makes us feel bitter because it is not so different from our reality. This SciFi movie sends a warning message against materialism with sensuous mages. (JUNG You-me)

Kike MAILLO

Kike Maíllo majored in film directing at ESCAC. Six years after his first short film Eva in 2011, he received the Grand Prix at the Entertainment Lions with his short film Beyond Money . He is currently preparing his third feature for expansion into the TV space.
