Synopsis

A man is miraculously revived on the day of his funeral. However, his wife and mother say they don’t want to spoil the fully-prepared funeral, so they ask him to die again. This black comedy exposes the false desires of people wanting to hide behind false images.

Program Note

A man miraculously comes back to life at his funeral. His wife and mother ask him to die again. It is a black comedy portraying the two women who are afraid of being a laughing stock for the guests at the funeral that they prepared with utmost care. This film puts forward preposterous situations and characters, such as the resurrection of an average man and a family considering themselves as murders. This way, it makes a funny satire on empty formalities of people who care too much about what others think. (CHAE So-ra)

Diretor

Albert PINTÓ / Caye CASAS

Albert Pintó and Caye Casas are writers, directors and friends from Barcelona. Although they have also directed some short films individually, together they achieved their first big success with the multi-award winning short film Nada S.A. (2014).
