Program Note

Iwakiri, who entered the college film circle, has heard of a strange rumor. It is said that when making a film starring a woman with long hair, who appears once every four year, it will be a big hit. He sees Minami and stars her in his film. This Urban spooky stories about a mysterious girl erase the line between fact and fiction when she is caught by Iwakiri’s camera. Is Minami a ghost? Was it just an ordinary person who happened to be found by him? It is meaningless for the internet generation who is indifferent to distinguish between virtual reality and reality that she is a ghost or not. To be in his real world is enough. He is fascinated by Minami and everything depends. He obeys the reality that all his daily life and fantasies are the world of the film. The Sacrament is full of the miscellaneous elements of 21st century pop culture. The 25-year-old young director, Iwakikiri skillfully deploys urban spooky stories, YouTube, special effects, and self -shot. He does not hesitate to talk to other media and genres. The film is not complete yet, but it has great achievements as a display of a new sense. (KIM Bong-seok)
