Riri Riza is an Indonesian screenwriter-director and teaches film directing at his alma mater, Jakarta Institute of Arts. Her films including Sherina's Adventure (2000), Eliana, Eliana (2002), Gie (2005), 3 Days To Forever (2007), The Rainbow Troops (2008) and Athirah (Mother) (2016), have been screened in prestigious film festivals and have also received numerous international awards.
