Born in Ping Tong, Taiwan, Chung Mong-Hong received his M.F.A. in Filmmaking from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. He directed many TV commercials. Also, films such as The Fourth Portrait (2010) and Soul (2013) were screened in many international film festivals. Godspeed (2016) is his fourth feature film.
