Synopsis

Nine-year-old Ren flees into the streets of Shibuya and meets the powerful but lonely and lazy Kumatetsu. Following his back, Ren enters the Beast Kingdom and becomes his disciple, but they do not get along at all.

HOSODA Mamoru

Born in 1967, Japan, Hosoda is a Japanese filmmaker and animator studied oil painting at the Kanazawa College of Art. His major works include The Girl who Leapt Through Time (2006), Summer Wars (2009), and Wolf Child (2012).
