Synopsis

A 10 year–old Veronica was told witchcraft tales from her nanny, and she often pretends to be a real witch. Veronica takes credit for a series of strange events by telling Flavia, her best friend, that she caused them with black magic. Flavia is getting terrified of Veronica’s power. When Veronica demands Flavia surrender her beloved pet, Flavia is finally compelled to stop Veronica in a horrifying climax.

Carlos Enrique Taboada was born in 1929, Mexico City. He was a writer and director of gothic horror films, known for Poison For the Fairies. Throughout his career, he is highly regarded as he ha s influenced a generation of Mexican filmmakers, most famously Guillermo Del Toro.
