Synopsis

Yu‘s father, a Catholic priest, is urging Yu to confess, but in order to confess he must sin. So Yu becomes the King of Tokyo’s photo voyeurs. Child abuse, fetishism, Catholicism, sects: SONO Sion has never shied away from politically incorrect themes. Almost four-hour-long but nonetheless extremely entertaining film never loses its tension for even a single moment.

Sono Sion

Born in 1961, Sono Sion is a director, author and a poet. He gained international fame with Suicide Club(2002), and received Caligari Award at Berlin International Film Festival with Love Exposure in 2009. In 2015, Release of his new film Love & Peace and Tag, Sono Sion continues his signature style, presenting the new world of freedom from confinement and repression.
