Synopsis

Norwegian zombie film Dead Snow is a bloody but delightful gore that uses exaggerated action scenes in the snowfield battle between zombies and medical students. The zombies in this movie are nazis, the public enemy that engaged in slaughter and plunder during World War II. They look ridiculous in heavily starched uniforms but also strangely appealing. Of course, nazi zombies alone cannot make a funny film. As the title Dead Snow suggests, the attraction of this movie is in the fact that zombies are in a field covered with snow. The crimson red of blood being sprayed on the white snow is what is fascinating about this movie. Each of the medical students kills about a dozen zombies. This film will be a treat to fans of gore with eyes popping, guts wrenched and limbs torn. Despite the exaggerated humor this movie is pleasant and fun. (KIM Jong Chul)
