Synopsis

Eight people with different agendas go to the remote woods. Unaware of the others" presence, each is absorbed in their own business - scamps trying to bury a body, a couple looking to have sex in the car, high school students who"ve come to inhale gas. They are all trying to escape from reality but cannot foresee the tragic events such attempts will bring. The movie begins rather comically when the characters are suddenly brought together by brutal deaths without apparent reason or cause. Man"s vulgar desire leads to betrayal, violence and pursuits. The movie creates a sense of fear and suspense by confining the space to the woods where people are cut off from reality. The director uses this fear as a tool for comedy. This movie is closer to a cruel but funny fantasy than a well planned serious crime story. (NAM Da Eun)
