This film is a must if you are a fan of the Evil Dead series and of Bruce CAMPBELL. What is interesting is that he plays himself under his real name. In this film, he is a has-been who lives drunk in a battered trailer and stars in cheap B-grade movies. My Name is Bruce is about actual things that happen during the life of real-life actor Bruce CAMPBELL and a fan boy who simply worships him. In truth, this film is not a well structured horror movie. From beginning to end, heads are simply cut off when the actor swings his knife. On the other hand, Bruce CAMPBELL"s daily life is filled with humor. His wife divorced him and he is penniless. His manager ran off with his wife. If you look closely, you"ll realize that the stars are the original crew from Evil Dead. Bruce CAMPBELL is what makes this movie special. (KIM Jong Chul)
