Synopsis
Adapted from the bestselling novel in Taiwan! Filled with modern fantasy, this is the Taiwanese version of Constantine . A pale young girl LEAF comes to the deserted East Wind Market to seek help from a master exorcist JAY, because ghosts are haunting her father. And because Jay just ran in to Mystery WU who was leading the spirits of Girl in Red and Girl in White, Jay mistaken Leaf as a spirit too, and they eventually make each other’s acquaintances. Under the command of SANTAIZE (The Third Prince), Jay takes on Leaf’s task. With Leaf’s clues, Jay finds Girl in Red and Girl in White truly are haunting Leaf’s father. He finds out that these two girls are Ascella’s family. After their deaths, they were forced under spell to work for Papiyas (The Great Demon of 6th Heaven). Suddenly, Leaf has a heart attack right after Jay breaks their spells. Jay heads over to Ascella’s to investigate and leaves Leaf to prepare for surgery. Before leaving the hospital, he sees that the head surgeon is Mystery WU. Although intrigued, he does not think much of it at the time.
Ascella is holding a grudge against Jay because of his family’s death. When Jay arrives, Ascella uses all his powers to summon demons and conjure spells to kill Jay. In the midst of the battle, Jay finds out that Mystery is working under Papiyas, and all that has happened so far is a scheme to take Leaf’s heart. Jay wins the fight, but suffers severe injuries. When he rushes back to the hospital, Leaf’s heart was already taken. Jay has no choice but to cast spells to keep Leaf temporarily alive. He takes her back to East Wind Market and awaits Papiyas’ arrival.
In the big battle, Jay tries everything to take back Leaf’s heart. But Mystery reveals Jay’s darkest secret. Jay was the person that caused the big fire many years ago in East Wind Market that killed all those people. The living neighbors and the trapped spirits are enraged. Jay suffers his most desperate moment… Will Jay be able to defeat the fierce Papiyas? Or will Santaize be mischievous as usual and says “I’ll just find another medium’?

Born in Changhua, Taiwan, to a family operating movie theaters, David naturally dove headfirst into moviemaking. He began learning cinematography at 13 and immigrated to Canada. His career started in Post-production. In 2004, he returned to the Chinese film industry. Feature works as 1st AD include Detective Dee (2010) Secret (2006), and Exit No. 6 (2006) Feature works as director include Double Trouble (2012), Step Back to Glory (2013), The Blue Choker (2018).
