The "2025 Animation Digital Restoration Forum," co-hosted by the Korean Film Archive and the Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival, revisits Asian animation through the journey of ¡®Sun Wukong,¡¯ the iconic character from Journey to the West. Two landmark works¤ÑPrincess Iron Fan (1941), created amidst war and revolution in China, and Sun Wukong (1968), produced in Korea despite technical limitations?stand side by side once again before contemporary audiences through digital restoration.
