Program Note
A successful model, Yo is getting tired of the world of the show business. Her old best friend, Pim, stays with her who is seemingly helpless and losing her life’s goal. Pym, who is losing her sight every day after being diagnosed with cancer, is exposed to her step-father’s violence against her and her mother. Unexpectedly, they murder the step-father and leave to find someone who can cover up his body. The two women, who are now in the middle of a murder case, are confused and at a loss for words. They are afraid that even their close relation would be broken. The movie focuses on the friendship between Yo and Pim and maintains balance between components of drama, thriller and Road Movie. Director Bongkod Bencharongkul is also a famous Thai actress who made her debut with Bang Rajan (2000) and starred in The Protector (2005). This is her second feature release, and she even participated in scenario and production. The Thai film industry is also paying attention to the fact that this is a female noir created by a female director and actresses. Kongkiat Khomsiri, play writer of Ong-Bak series and director of cult movies, participated as a producer and enhanced the perfection of this genre film. (JEONG Ji-hye)
