Program Note
This film is reminiscent of Love Death + Robots (2019), as it attempts the sci-fi genre, which is not easy in a short film. The aggressive use of excellent visual effects stands out. It also shows how much effort goes into the art, filming and lighting to create cyberpunk images. This very brave shot at a short film, leads us to look forward to the director’s next one. Andreas VARSAKOPOULOS
Andreas works as a foreign filmmaker in S. Korea. Andreas has worked in front of the camera in his early years but is now giving his full attention towards the production side of filmmaking. Cage is the first short film project from Andreas Pictures, a crew of foreign filmmakers that work in the Korean entertainment industry.
