As a virus constantly mutates and survives by attacking the weakest human link, a new strain unlocks limits of violence and sadistic desire hidden deep in human hearts. Jim and Kat are starting a peaceful day when zombies infected by virus variants take to the streets to hunt down humans and turn the subway into a massacre scene. Zombies are usually depicted as soulless masses, but in The Sadness, they are obsessed with lust, sadism, and violence, wildly indulging in rape and torture.
