Program Note
In Ding-Dong Challenge, 3 girls dream of becoming an Idol, a YouTuber, and someone’s first love. They dance while watching videos to make their dreams come true. Ahn Sang-hoon, who also directed Blind (2011), explores the price of the girls’ anxiety and desires through this horror. The girl group CLC, starring in the film are a perfect match with the characters. (Martin LEE)

Graduated and studied for Theatre and Films at Dongguk University, and continuely studied film at Korea National University of Arts. He has written and directed for Pass Over (2004), Arang (2006), Blind (2011), Empire of Lust (2015), The Witness (2015).
