Program Note

In Paris, a storm rages. The Eiffel Tower vanishes in the fog. A man walks, dragging a coffin behind him. He stops right in front of the practice of Dr. Wanda, a young dentist who was not expecting this visit at all.

Program Note

After Joko becomes a vampire, he is taken to his wife Wanda’s dental clinic. The man carrying Joko in a coffin leaves him with her and asks her to cure him. While the encounter scene between the couple is quite lovely, the reason the film is called Wanda’s nightmare is because she winds up alone in the end. The real nightmare would be the days she has to live without her beloved. All in all, Wanda’s Nghtmare is a cute vampire film from France. (HWANG Hye-min)
