Program Note

Schools are forced to close down resulting from the aging population problem in Hong Kong. Based on a true story of an enthusiastic headmaster who stands by her principle and faith to run a kindergarten for five underprivileged kids, regardless of very low pay and difficulties, her sacrifice finally wins respect of public.

Adrian KWAN

After studying films in Canada, Adrian Kwan came back to Hong Kong in 1992 and joined TV industry before joining the film industry. As a director, Kwan wishes to spread hopes and positive values through his films. Life is a Miracle (2001), If you Care…(2002), The Miracle Box(2004) are some of his famous works.
