WU Ershan

Born in 1972, Hohhot, Inner Mongolia, Wu studied directing at the Beijing Film Academy. His feature debut,The Butcher, The Chef, and the Swordsman (2010) won the Best New Director Award at Golden Horse and was invited to several festivals including Toronto International Film Festival. His Painted Skin: The Resurrection (2012) was invited Golden Horse and Sitges proving his talents.
