Program Note

In bed until late on a cold winter afternoon, a girl finds a tiny dust kid. She finally decides to clean the house, which she has put off for so long. (13th edition, winner of Best Korean Short Film)

Director

JOUNG Yumi

After graduating from the department of painting at Kookmin University, She majored in animation directing at the Korean Academy of Film Arts. In 2009, Her film Dust Kid (2009) was the first Korean animation to be introduced Cannes Directors' Fortnight.. Math Test (2010), Love Games (2013) has screened at Berlin Short Film Competition. And Love Games (2013) won the Grand Prix at Animafest Zagreb Competition 2022 the Grand Prix at the Animation Film Festival. House of Existence (2022) entered Berlinale Shorts Competition and Animafest Zagreb Competition 2022.
