Planning the road

A superhero fantasy about a young mudang whose abilities grow because of a witch from the West
People have always been fascinated by those who can see what ordinary people cannot. Such people are called mudang. Mudang are shamans who practice the shamanism of the East Asian cultural sphere. They predict the future, heal illnesses, and prevent mishaps by receiving help from spirits and gods. After thinking that I wanted to create a fantasy story with a teenage girl with special abilities as the protagonist, I decided that mudang would be the most appropriate and appealing profession. This project will challenge those who despise and stereotype against shamanism and mudang.

The story of a young girl who seeks forgiveness through a series of reincarnations
Because people are people, they make countless mistakes as they go through life. Such mistakes can be resolved through forgiveness. To both the forgiver and the one seeking forgiveness, timing is important. I have thought a great deal about the time when both sides come to an agreement. I am looking to tell a story about a teenage girl who reincarnates repeatedly to seek forgiveness for her mistakes after missing her chance to do so due to bad timing.

A coming-of-age story of teenagers faced with violence
During my teenage years, when I was undergoing growing pains to become wholly myself, I harmed myself once, driven by the latent violence within me. Before reaching adulthood, some teenagers become wounded as victims of school violence, and some are socially labeled as perpetrators. Teenagers also suffer from domestic violence that is hidden behind closed doors. Whether it be within the home, school, or society, violence is rampant. My goal was to tell a story about those teenagers who develop and grow as they face, and sometimes manage to avoid, violence from violent people in violent spaces.
