In the international short competition section 'Bucheon Choice: Short,' 11 films have been selected from 987 submissions from Asia, the Americas, and Europe. In addition to genre films that follow classic conventions, this year’s lineup features works that delicately portray the bond between humans, animals, and nature. It also includes films that stand out for their experimental and original mise-en-scène, as well as genre-driven reinterpretations of cinematic masterpieces.
