Program Note

Rapidly advancing self-driving technology could put couriers out of work. In order to save her son's job, Mi-sook takes action. The film creates a cute and scary portrayal of the future to come. The loving tone that runs through the film is well executed by the actress KIM Jayoung and the supporting cast. The detailed implementation of the display props is another reason to enjoy this movie. JEONG Ki-yeon

Born in 1998. Majoring in Department of Filmmaking at Korea National University of Arts. His short film, The Great Clarke (2022), and The Strange Case of Neptune (2023) was selected for the BIFAN. Scary Self-driving (2024) is his fourth short film.
