Program Note

Helga visits her grandparents’ countryside house, where only her frail and sickly grandmother and grandfather live. As her grandmother has mobility issues, she constantly sends SOS messages to Helga. In an effort to help her grandmother, Elga confronts her grandfather, and unexpected twists unfold. The adorable yet strangely familiar tale brings bursts of laughter. (Kani KIM)

Born in Barcelona in 1989.He currently works as a filmmaker and director of photography, combining his passion for video clips, spots, TV, documentaries, fiction, and content for global brands. A Little Taste (2019) in the Fantastic Short Films section, he returns to Bucheon with The Farmhouse (2022).
