Program Note

In the nostalgic atmosphere of an old theater, 27 and a half short stories unfold on the screen. These stories may seem unrelated at first, but delving deeper, we discover the peculiar interconnectedness between their beginnings and endings. True to its title, these very short stories are crafted with meticulous attention to each story’s setting, showcasing the director’s passion and precision. Pedro VILLAÇA

Born in São Paulo, Brazil. He studied film at FAAP (Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado) and NYFA (New York Film Academy). Starting with his first short film Collection of Extremely Short Stories (2022), he is currently working on his second short film Scofflaw - The Unfinished Film of Steve Spigel and is also involved as a director and co-director at production company Café Royal.
