Program Note

In the not-so-distant future, Giulia, who suffers from an eating disorder, is admitted to a clinic. Many patients in the clinic share a common problem, they have to adapt to a new diet and nutritional source, which is the non-degradable plastic waste discarded by humanity. During the cheerful therapy sessions, a collective slogan echoes repeatedly, sending the uncanny message: “from men it comes, to the men it returns”. This sharply and profoundly warns us about the challenges humanity faces. (Kani KIM)
