Synopsis

An assassin emerges from various circles of hellish setting that descended in the middle of a ruined city. During the explorations of strange landscapes, the assassin runs into various grotesque characters and bizarre situations, eventually arriving at the horrific destination. A visual masterpiece of stop-motion animation by the maestro Phil Tippett (Star Wars franchises, Jurassic Park and more,) Mad God is truly a remarkable achievement from the 30 year-long labor of love. The film effectively presents a nightmarish post-apocalyptic world without a single dialogue in place, driven instead by terrifying imagery and sound alone. Be warned to those with sensitive stomachs! (Jongsuk Thomas NAM)
