Program Note
The main character is a film school student who is afraid of filmmaking. He tries to make a film with some elders he met at a video rental shop. Fighting a turtle monster is a challenge that requires plenty of courage, like the filmmaking he’s always been afraid of. This unique genre film mixes a love of the movies with the Tokusatsu genre, which is live action film using special effects to defeat monsters and save the Earth. (KIM Young-woo)
