Synopsis

Alex will soon become a father. The passionate father-to-be listens to his own voice and his unborn child’s via a baby monitor, while decorating his child’s room. Soon he sinks into deep despair as he realizes this implies his failure as a father. Expectancy is a psychological horror that pulls viewers into a terrifying state of fear that can’t be resolved.

Born in 1984, Turku, Finland. Influenced by the horror films of the seventies and eighties writer-director- producer Juho Fossi is hellbent on sharing his dark cinematic visions with the rest of the world. Expectancy is his sixth short film.
