Program Note
Haruko Shibuya is a “mundane and ordinary” high school student, one day, coming back from shopping, meets Kenichi Kanagawa, who everyone thought was a serious-minded student preparing for his college entrance exam, suddenly quits school. Haruko falls in love with Kenichi at first sight and believes it is “the love of the century”, however he meets a femme fatale Mayumi at a street of Tokyo and falls for her.

SETA Natsuki
Born in Osaka in 1979. Graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts as a Master of Film and New Media. She directed her graduation work A Letter from Elsewhere(2008) under the supervision of directors Kurosawa Kiyoshi and Kitano Takeshi. She made her professional feature-length debut with A Liar and a Broken Girl(2011), and her other major directorial works include the 5windows series (2011 & 2013), Parks(2017), and the TV drama series Tokyo Alice(2017), Setoutsumi(2017), and Koe Girl!(2018).
