Program Note
A year after her best friend Jina has gone missing from playing 'The Elevator Game' the abandoned hospital, Trang confronts her step-father Son for having an affair with Jina before her death. Urged by her cousin Ngoc, Trang leaves her apartment to the abandoned hospital to find her step-father. But when Ngoc tries to play the game, she vanishes, too. Trang is left alone with no choice but to play the game to save her family.
Director
Peter MOUROUGAYA
Writer and director Peter Mourougaya was born in Saigon Vietnam in 1974 during the American Vietnam war. His father is American while his mother is Vietnamese/French. His family left Vietnam during the fall of Saigon in 1975. He lived in the U.S where he went to school and university to study film-making. He decided to live in Vietnam to make his 1st film. After 10 years of writing various scripts, he finally got financing for his debut film The Lift.
