Program Note

A woman meets an old high school friend, whom she knows well. When his car is smashed up, he refuses to call the police, despite knowing the identities of the perpetrators. He is still accepting blame for something she did a long time ago…

Program Note

It could have been the most beautiful moment of their lives, so the man’s choice remains like a huge scar while the woman prowls around him, constantly reminding him of painful memories. The story of a couple lost in an emotional maze, where love or hatred cannot be dened, Mulbineul is a new film by Shin Suwon, director of Glass Garden (2017), working with new scriptwriter Lee Ayoun. Actor Kim Yaeun and Jeon Seongu’s performances leave a calm and lingering resonance. (Mo Eun-young)
