Program Note
Jin-soo is satisfied with life and tries to make the best of things. When his father disapproves of the girl he likes, he is determined not to give up. However, his resolve is tested with the death of a former classmate and news that his love interest is planning to leave Korea.
Program Note
This film follows Jinsoo’s story as a low-level civil servant, passing after 5 attempts, and also Jungsoo’s journey in search of what he really wants to do. Recipe for Happiness portrays the life of youth: nding a job, love, friendship etc. over eight episodes. Actor Gong Myung, who was in Extreme Job (2019), and Park Sojin of the K pop group ‘Girl’s Day’ each adds their own charm. (MO Eun-young)
