Program Note

Can you expect fear from a story featuring a child and a teddy bear? Teddy Bears Picnic proves it is possible. A young child playing hide-and-seek steps into the woods where teddy bears are hanging from trees like fruits. But a scene that may appear in a fairy tale suddenly turns into a frightening one.
