Program Note
Haunted by an eerie image of a young girl, Angela struggles as she deals with her visions alone. Clairvoyant revolves around the story of Angela’s family as they navigate the pandemic, poverty, and something inexplicable haunting their family. It’s an interesting and experimental format and shares Angela’s untethered view on overcoming her father’s violence. The swimming scene at the end reflecting Angela’s view as a ghost is impressive.
