Program Note
In the depths of her mind, pain takes the form of a creature. A love relationship unleashes the darkness within and conjures it into the real world, a world of shadows. Experimental attempts through the dreamy atmosphere, such as scenes appearing in infinitely repeated and entangled frames, stand out.
Director
María Silvia ESTEVE
Argentine director and film editor, awarded by the Spanish Association of Authors of Cinematographic Photography AEC, before debuting her career with Silvia (2018). Her fiction short film Creature had its World Premiere at The Locarno Film Festival, and won the Pardino d’oro Swiss Life for the Best Auteur Short.
