UEDA Shinichiro
Born in 1984 in Shiga Prefecture. He has directed more than 10 films, including Rice and Boobs, The Novelist in Love, and Take 8, and has won 46 awards at film festivals in Japan and abroad. In 2018, his first theatrical feature One Cut of the Dead was an exceptional hit. And in 2019, he founded PANPOCOPINA, Inc. to plan and produce films. In 2020, he produced One Cut of the Dead Mission: Remote, a film produced "completely remotely" by the director, staff, and cast, without meeting them in person, in response to the Corona disaster, and released on YouTube for free. In 2021, 100 Nichi Go ni Shinu Wani and DIVOC-12 released in theaters.
