Program Note
Thorn is the pagan leader in a peaceful commune living with his coven of followers. With the arrival of his 20-year reunion notice, however, his secret of being a popular jock and class president is revealed. Thorn leaves the coven and get on the journey to reclaim his identity… by attending the reunion. King Knight is a quirky, oddball comedy that heavily relies on the acting talent of Matthew Gray Gubler (of TV’s Criminal Minds) who brilliantly plays Thorn. His comic genius truly shines during the hysterical reunion journey sequences. This is a weirdly delightful, oddball comedy from the warped mind of Richard Bates, Jr. (Jongsuk Thomas NAM)
