Program Note

An unsuspecting family on a road trip stumbles into a motel on a seedy stretch of historic Route 66. From the outside this looks like any other budget motel, but as the doors slowly open they uncover a world of sin, addiction, pain, longing, and desperation from which there is little chance of escape.

TheWorldFamous Ike

Born in 1967. Ike’s love of film started as a child, but didn’t become a part of his creative world until he met Evel Natanas (producer of Behind The Red Motel Door) and was attracted to filmmaking by Evel’s passion for film and vast knowledge of the technical side of things. This is the second feature collaboration between Ike and Evel.
