Synopsis

This adaptation of the webtoon of the same title questions what it is to be human through the vicious build-up to entering university, and the environment that perpetuates this. The characters, oblivious of others if it means it gets them what they want, are reduced to beasts with only basic instincts. (HUH Namwoong)

Director

YOON Eunkyoung

Director Yoon Eunkyoung was born in Seoul, Korea, and majored in Educational Psychology at Ewha Womans University, Film Studies at Chung-Ang University, and completed a filmmaking course at Vancouver Film School in Canada. Starting with her first feature film Hotel Lake (2020), she has been trying to mix genres such as horror, thriller, and mystery. The Tenant (2023) is her second feature film.
