Program Note
During camp training at a baseball club, Jisung hears of his grandfather’s death from the coach. Is violence inflicted with disingenuous excuses the best and improve sporting ability? Is there a way to stop the vicious cycle of violence that is tacitly inflicted according to unseen ranks? This film calmly emphasizes the violence justified by implicit approval in the sporting world. Summer Training attempts to address such irrationalities of our society. (MO Eun-young)

Born in Seoul in 1996, he majors in film arts at Dong-A Institute Media and Arts. He has planned to make films to reveal the true face of the sports world, and Summer Training is the first of them.
