She found a very cheap house in the city, but her house is lifted to the air by a huge crane. It is too hard for her to manage a city life.

Her life sits in a city that is in the midst of demolition. She lives in a house hanging from a giant crane and her urban life is difficult to balance like a house that trembles with only a slight movement. How will she survive in this greedy and poor city hidden behind it’s fancy appearance. How will she escape from her boyfriend who turns into a cat and comes to visit to eventually eats her? Director Park Jee-youn, who has portrayed women’s lack of identity and communication in her film, has a unique style filled with satire, humor, symbols and her style continues and deepens in her latest work Skin and Mind. Born in 1974, Park Jee-youn is working as a production director of painting in the studio ‘Now or Never’. She continues to direct excellent animation works such as Instant Memory (2005) and the Camels (2011).
