Program Note

A girl comes to borrow a Polaroid camera from her senior. The senior explains to her how to operate the camera, but the girl can’t raise her head easily. Like a Polaroid camera that captures moments, this film captures the feelings of love like as thrill, shyness, excitement or coldness. How to Operate a Polariod Camera is director Kim Jong-kwan’s film, which captures the ripples of the emotions and it’s a way how the director works his film. It is also a work that discovered actor Jung Yu-mi. (MO Eun-young)
