Director Kim Ji-young and the ary team of Intention begins this project to find out why the Sewol ferry sank on April 16, 2014. What they paid attention to is the record of the Auto Identification System (AIS). AIS is a system that automatically records the location, speed, course, and angle of the ship’s bow and sends them outside. The ary team asks meaningful questions after comparing the government’s AIS records, control data and naval radar flight performance. The results of the ary team’s analysis coincides with the location of the sink of the Sewol ferry which Captain of Dula Aiis, the first witness of the Sewol ferry disaster said. But why is that different from what the government has announced? Intention focuses on actual interviews with survivors, bereaved families and experts, reenact through animation, and simulation and reproduction through CG, based on thorough data analysis. A ary whichreally follows the basics of fact checks on the Sewol ferry, is about to approach the real truth once again by asking questions. It was produecd by the Project Team which made The Plan, dealing with allegations of the illegal vote manipulation for the 2012 presidential election and The Reservoir Game , picturing Ju Jin-u, journalist in¡¸Sisa In¡¹who chase slush funds of the former president, Lee Myung-bak.
