The Lady from 406 by LEE Kyoung-mi starts to talk about the issue of noisy upstairs neighbors and smoking in the apartment buildings as extremely ordinary scenes, but it makes an attempt to agree with the fundamental and universal emotions that our contemporaries feel. To the eyes of the director, the apartment building is no more than a Rubik’s cube, a pile of rooms of molecular entities that are locked in their rooms while holding onto their deficiency, wounds and sense of alienation.
