Program Note

A man gets an itchy while taking a rest outdoors. The itching that started from a small point drives him crazy. When will this pain end?

Program Note

A man was enjoying a rest when he felt itchy. He starts to scratch his arm, but the itch does not easily go away. He keeps scratching to the point where his skin peels off, and in the end, he removes his skin. Inspired by a short film by Martin Scorsese called The Big Shave (1967), this film has a political metaphor for an unquenchable human desire. Body damage is described in detail, but not to the degree that it is too hard to watch. (Gina KANG)
